Η Κριστίν Λαγκάρντ υπέβαλλε την παραίτησή της από τη θέση της προέδρου της ΕΚΤ. Ενημέρωσε το ΔΣ της ΕΚΤ και τον πρόεδρο του Ευρωπαϊκού Συμβουλίου, Αντόνιο Κόστα, πως θα αποχωρήσει στις 7 Φεβρουάριο του 2027.
